Welcome to a whole new year of cottage living!

Although there has been nothing new on the SCOI website for several months, we have been very busy designing a new and improved registration system.

Beginning in February 2022 we have been accepting cottage membership registrations online using the new system.  All memberships entered after that point will be valid until April 30, 2023.

Annual membership gives you access to all the benefits of belonging to your local association, as well as full access to all the material on scoi.ca and notifications of new posts.


Open Access till June 1, 2022

For this year only, the scoi.ca site will remain open (no login needed) to members and non-members alike until June 1, 2022. After that date, you must have a current, paid, membership in order to continue accessing material on the site.


Fiscal Years

The SCOI fiscal year and the cottage fiscal year run from May 1 to April 30.  Each year after 2022, cottage owners will be invited to renew their membership by May 1.   If your membership is not current as of May 1, 2023, you will be unable to access posts on the scoi.ca site until such time as you have renewed your previous year’s registration.

Note that for 2022 only, access to SCOI.ca posts will be open to all until June 2022. After that date you will need to be a registered, paid-in-full member to view content on this website.

Payment for membership and winter patrol will be online by credit card or debit card.  Stripe Canada will be processing the payments. SCOI will not have access to your credit card information. For more information on our privacy policy please go here.

You can update your membership information (name, email address, phone# etc) at any time from within the website.   All information will be carried forward for future years so very little will be required to renew.

SCOI does not have access to your password. If you forget your password, there is a “forgot your password?” button that will take you to a form that allows you to create a new one as long as you are using the same e-mail address you used to register.


  • Registration data from last year will NOT be carried over to the new system
  • To subscribe to emailed updates on the site, you will indicate this on your registration form.  The old system of email notifications will no longer function (if it ever really did!).
